Rues de Paris Sweater is a seamless pullover featuring a simple but striking tuck pattern. It is knit flat and in the round from the top down. The main fabric is made out of three strands of lace weight yarn held together: two of silk mohair yarn and one strand of merino wool yarn.
The cast-on row runs sideways from cuff to cuff. The back from shoulders to underarms is knitted first then put on hold while the front is knit. The side seams of the sleeves are closed by a 3-Needle Bind-Off, then the body is knitted in the round. The garment is finished neatly by a little shawl collar of garter stitch.
To knit our version, we used our custom La Bien Aimée color, Day by the Bay, and combined it with Verb's iconic indigo blue yarns in the colorways Fresh Water and Oasis. The yarn themselves are so pretty in the skein, it is almost hard to knit them! But once on the needles, your eye and heart will be delighted as you watch the ever shifting colors, knit into a soft, lightweight, gorgeous fabric and sweater.
We love the boxy fit of the sweater! Easy to throw on and go!

Recommended ease: 8–11’’ / 20–28 cm of positive ease.
